Join Our Team as a Shelter Assistant! Love animals? Looking for a job where you can make a real difference every single day? We’re looking for friendly, motivated people to join our team as Shelter Assistants! This is a hands-on, active job where you’ll care for animals, help keep them healthy and happy, and be part of a team that truly cares.

It’s hard work, but incredibly rewarding. No two days are ever the same!

• Clean and sanitize dog kennels and cat areas (hosing, scrubbing, bleaching, etc.)
• Scoop litter boxes and make sure our cats have clean, cozy spaces
• Feed and water animals and help monitor their health
• Walk strong, energetic dogs and give baths to both cats and dogs
• Clean up messes throughout the day — inside and outside
• Help with daily chores like dishes, laundry, sweeping, and mopping
• Lift 40+ lb. bags of dog food, cat litter, and other supplies
• Pay close attention to details and report anything unusual to a supervisor

• A positive attitude and love for animals (experience is great, but not required!)
• Reliable, responsible, and not afraid of hard work
• The ability to do physically demanding tasks for up to 9 hours
• Great communication and teamwork skills

Hours vary weekly and include weekends and holidays. Consistent attendance is super important—the animals count on us every day!
