With a focus on gracious hospitality, quality, and diversity, Madden’s seeks Bartenders for the 2026 season.
Duties and Responsibilities- Set up and break down banquet bar stations according to event specifications.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible service.
- Follow all recipes, portion controls, and service standards.
- Verify guest age and comply with all alcohol service laws.
- Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
- Perform opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control and cleaning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked bar throughout events.
- Be accountable for checks and cash transactions, drink tickets, and POS systems as required.
- Utilize Point of Sales System.
- Review banquet or dining room schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking after events.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Maintain reliable attendance.
- Good multi‑tasking skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in high‑volume settings.
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests.
- Great time management skills.
- Must be able to work alongside other people and independently.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous bartending experience required; banquet or event experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentWork is performed in multiple dining outlets.
Physical DemandsPrimarily standing for prolonged periods of time; must be able to stand, walk, talk/hear in person and by telephone, occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 40 pounds, sometimes repeatedly.
Expected Hours of WorkFlexible schedule with nights, weekends, and holidays.
TravelLess than 10% travel required.
