• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install conduit.
• Oversee or participate in wire installations with conduit and cable tray.
• Connect power to equipment.
• Lead and develop up to four apprentice electricians.
• Know other construction trades.
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 100 lbs in a construction work environment.
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds while carrying tools.
• May be exposed to high and precarious places.
• Risk of electrical shock and outside weather conditions.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Experience using or desire to learn the latest BIM/VDC technologies for pre‑planning and on‑site coordination of all Interstates projects.
• Must have a state‑issued journeyman electrician license (or equivalent).
• Industrial electrical experience required.
• Knowledge of BIM/VDC technology preferred.

This position will require travel in or around Brainerd, MN – within a 200‑mile radius. Applicants must be permanently located in the area or be willing to relocate. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required. Per diem and mileage stipends apply per company policy.

Start times, break times, and work hours vary by site and project stage. Employees work more than 40 hours per week but no more than 60, as part of our commitment to safety. Weekend work may be required on occasion.

This role may expose you to high or precarious places, electrical shock, and outside weather conditions. You may need to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces. Noise is usually moderate. Tasks may involve dust exposure. Candidates should be comfortable working under these conditions and comply with safety standards.

$35 to $40 per hour (DOE).
