Lead Installer Role Overview

Renewal by Andersen is seeking accomplished, driven, and motivated Lead Installers to ensure premium customer experience in upgrading homes. The Lead Installer is responsible for window and door installation on a single job site, ensuring customer satisfaction, pre‑arrival planning for materials and resources, confirming measurements before work commences, performing routine to complex window or door installations, and shutting down the work site properly.

The role also includes providing direction and training to other installers in accordance with company guidelines.

• Window and door installation on a single job site
• Ensure customer satisfaction and communicate with homeowners throughout the job
• Plan pre‑arrival materials and resources and confirm measurements
• Perform routine and complex window or door installations
• Properly shut down the work site
• Provide direction and training to installers per company guidelines
• Serve as the face of Renewal by Andersen by building rapport, explaining job progress, answering homeowner questions, and encouraging online reviews

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of window installation and remodeling experience (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of managing job sites and leading crews in a construction environment (preferred)
• Ability and willingness to coach and mentor other installers
• Proven track record of superior workmanship
• Availability to work when homeowners are available (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Effective communication skills with peers and homeowners
• Capability to handle confrontation/conflicts using a tactful, diplomatic approach
• Organization of tasks and job requirements
• Proficiency in tools and equipment
• Empathy and customer service skills
• Strong sense of accountability and teamwork
• Diagnostic skills: assessment, problem solving, decision making
• Self‑motivation, time‑ and work‑process management, ability to work independently

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit‑sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
