Penmac Staffing is hiring an Awning Installer / Marine Technician / Shop Helper for a busy Brainerd area client. This full‑time, hands‑on role is perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and learning installation and marine restoration skills.
Schedule & Pay- Full‑time, Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- $17–$22/hour, depending on experience
- Potential for seasonal layoff based on business needs
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical work daily
- Comfortable working on ladders and at varying heights
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Willingness to travel to local or out‑of‑town job sites
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Previous experience in construction, installation, or shop work is helpful but not required
- Assist with shop organization, material handling, and daily tasks
- Support installation of awnings, covers, and related products
- Help with marine flooring prep, cutting, fitting, and installation
- Load, unload, and transport materials and tools safely
- Set up work areas and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Work both indoors and outdoors depending on project needs
- Follow safety procedures and deliver quality workmanship
