Senior Property Accountant

Job Summary

Kforce's client in is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their team in Braintree, MA. This client is a long running real estate company. They have an excellent culture and hold fun outings for the team. They offer a strong benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, sick/vacation days, etc. This role will be fully in office to start and will move to a hybrid schedule after 3 months (1 day a week remote).

• Record financial data
• Create and maintain payables and journal entries
• Conduct account reconciliations
• Review and analyze general ledger activity and resolve any discrepancies
• Ensure mortgage payments and taxes are paid timely
• Analyze and record accrued expenses
• Prepare audit work papers and manage the audit process
• Prepare reporting packages to lenders and investors

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
• 4+ years of accounting experience within public accounting or real estate
• Yardi software experience is preferred
• Strong organizational and analytical skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
