As an Inventory Control / Purchasing Associate, you will provide assistance to customers as they purchase the materials they need for a variety of building projects. From the moment you greet customers until their sales have been finalized, you will provide them with superior service and building material expertise.### Specific duties may include:
* Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
* Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
* Answering customer questions and offering product advice
* Ordering products from other L&W Supply branches when necessary
* Arranging with the warehouse for customer product pickup
* Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
* Addressing and resolving customer concerns when necessary
* Ordering from manufacturers and related vendors
* Receiving inbound material into systems
* Performing cycle counts### Specific qualifications include:
* 1-2 years' experience in purchasing and inventory control is preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Solid time management and prioritization skills
* Superior organizational skills
* Experience with CRM systems, Excel, document management, and inventory control (Min/Max)
* Cycle counting product experience### Benefits may include:

Pay Rate Information:$30-35/hr., based on experience and qualifications.
