Assistant Teacher

The hourly pay range for this position is $19.00–$23.00, based on experience and qualifications.

• Greet each child by name and acknowledge parents during drop‑off and pick‑up times daily.
• Ensure the safety of each child.
• Maintain confidentiality of school directives, curriculum and software.
• Read, understand and implement all policies and procedures of The Gardner School and all State Licensing Agencies.
• Maintain professional and positive relationships with parents and coworkers.
• Advise the Director or Assistant Director of any supplies needed for the upcoming months.
• Follow the standards set forth for the conduct and responsibilities of all staff members who come in contact with children.

• One year of professional experience.
• Love working with children and have a loving and nurturing personality.
• Excellent communication skills, including personal face‑to‑face communication with parents, staff, and children.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Computer literacy required.

• BS or BA degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or related degree preferred.
• Intermediate PC skills.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
