Job Description

We are seeking a passionate History/Math teacher to join Granite Academy, a dynamic day school for middle and high school-aged students with emotional and mental health needs. The role supports individualized programming, promotes student engagement in academic, vocational, social, and recreational activities, and helps students move toward graduation.

• Plan and deliver curriculum in accordance with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
• Integrate technology and assess student progress.
• Use the innovative Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC) trauma‑informed framework within the classroom.
• Develop and implement individualized supports for students and collaborate with caregivers and public school systems.
• Carry out all tasks identified by the Director of Education and participate in teacher development.

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant content area.
• Experience with Google Classroom preferred.
• Capable of working collaboratively as a team member and independently.
• Good interpersonal skills and basic computer program proficiency.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Salary range: $52,000 to $94,000 per year, based on experience, education, licensure, certifications, and qualifications.

• $2,000 bilingual bonus for new hires who speak a second language fluently.
