Job DescriptionTeacher needed to join the Braintree High School Alternative Education program. The Alternative Program operates within Braintree High School, servicing a range of students requiring academic, social, emotional, and behavioral support. This position requires DESE curriculum area licensure (9-12) with a background in direct academic instruction at the secondary level, as well as experience working with students having specific learning and SEL profiles.
The successful candidate should show clear evidence of working with students in a behavior modification program and will receive a teaching assignment based on professional skill set and specific program needs. Experience with student IEPs in the new DESE format is also preferred. Dual Moderate Disabilities 5-12 licensure given preference.
