Job DescriptionThe Braintree Public School District is seeking a 1.0 FTE Math teacher to join the Braintree High School Alternative Education program. The Alternative Program operates within Braintree High School, servicing a range of students requiring academic, social, emotional, and behavioral support. This position requires DESE licensure in Math, 8‑12, with a background in direct academic instruction at the secondary level, as well as experience working with students having specific learning and SEL profiles.
The successful candidate should show clear evidence of working with students in a behavior modification program. Experience with student IEPs in the new DESE format is also preferred. Dual Moderate Disabilities 5‑12 licensure is given preference.
