36,300 per annum (depending on experience).
Time Plan Education are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Maths Teacher to work within a special educational needs (SEN) provision in Totnes. The school is well established and has a supportive leadership team, staff include LSAs, advocates, tutors, family support workers, and an outreach team.
In addition to the standard curriculum, many pupils also take vocational subjects, preparing them for future apprenticeship roles. The majority of pupils learn at primary level, so this role requires experience teaching Maths at primary and secondary levels, with particular expertise in supporting pupils with complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, trauma, and autism spectrum conditions (ASC) as well as ADHD.
Candidates must be a fully‑qualified Maths teacher with strong classroom practices, compassion for SEN pupils, and a passion for teaching. Both experienced and newly qualified Maths teachers are welcome. Applicants must hold a qualification to teach Maths at secondary level, be confident teaching from Years 7–10 (KS3–KS4), and obtain an updated DBS before starting.
