Qualifications & Desired
Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher license
- Current Orton Gillingham credential
- Experience working with middle or high school-aged students preferred
- Proven ability to deliver individualized instruction and support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 direct reading and academic intervention for assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on IEPs and assessment data
- Collaborate with school staff, intervention teams, and families to ensure student growth
- Track progress, maintain clear records, and adjust strategies as needed
- Foster a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged and empowered
