Clean Harbors is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee the lifecycle of critical assets within our Environmental Services operations. This role develops and maintains asset registers, plans preventive and corrective maintenance, and analyzes performance data to improve reliability, safety, and cost efficiency. Partnering with Maintenance & Asset Management, EHS, and Operations, the Asset Manager ensures compliance with environmental and safety regulations, supports capital planning, and drives continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee lifecycle management of fixed and mobile assets across environmental services operations
  • Develop and maintain asset registers, condition assessments, and maintenance plans
  • Analyze asset performance data to optimize reliability, uptime, and total cost of ownership
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with Maintenance & Asset Management teams
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards for all assets
  • Manage asset-related budgets, forecasts, and capital replacement planning
  • Collaborate with operations, EHS, and procurement to support sustainability and safety goals
  • Prepare asset reports, KPIs, and recommendations for leadership decision-making

Required Skills

  • Asset lifecycle management
  • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
  • Data analysis and KPI reporting
  • Maintenance planning and scheduling
  • Budgeting and capital planning
  • Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations
  • Reliability engineering concepts (RCM, FMEA, TPM)
  • Technical understanding of industrial equipment and facilities
