Position: Claims Analyst- Leave & Disability July 7, 2026

Claims Analyst – Leave Management

As a Claims Analyst supporting the Voya Leave Management (VLM) department, you will guide claimants through their integrated leave process with empathy and clarity. Your primary focus will be on Short Term Disability, Family Medical Leave (FMLA), and other paid leaves. You will ensure a high standard of service while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The Contributions You Will Make
  • Analyze and determine claim payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Make decisions on non‑complex disability claims.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally via phone and e‑mail.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in team‑based problem‑solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage assigned work queues within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience
  • 1 year of experience in FMLA or unpaid leave claims management.
  • 2 years of experience in short‑term disability or paid leave claims management.
  • Strong decision‑making and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Medical/vocational management knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree.
Compensation & Benefits

$45,180 - $75,300 USD annual base salary range. Voya offers incentive opportunities based on performance objectives. Additional benefits include:
