PositionPTA — full-time, located in the Braintree/Holbrook area. You will work collaboratively with the Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes. Strong communication skills are essential for effective patient care management between the PT and PTA. Pay rate: 35/hr. plus commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services to home health patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care.
- Prioritize and triage patients based on clinical assessment and needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate resources as needed.
- Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy Assistant License in good standing.
- 2+ years of PTA experience required.
- Prior homecare experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritize and triage patients.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work within a team structure.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and access resources for patients.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work full-time, either 32 or 40 hours per week.
