Registered Dietitian RD

Overview

John Scott House Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility is currently seeking a Full-Time (35hrs./week) Registered Dietitian (RD). • Collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to provide the highest level of nutritional care for our residents and sub-acute patients on-site.
• Offer ongoing nutritional education to residents, families, staff, and engage in community outreach programs.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure resident preferences and dietary needs are met.
• Work alongside the Food Service Director to ensure daily operations comply with state, federal, and local regulations.
• Perform initial, quarterly, and annual assessments of residents.
• Monitor and document residents' nutritional status in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

• At least 2 years of experience in geriatric nutrition and/or skilled nursing/long-term care preferred.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in the state of Massachusetts required.
• Current SERVSafe Certification.
• Experience with Point Click Care  (PCC) is a plus.
