The Revenue Cycle Manager manages all activities, processes, and functions of Revenue Cycle Operations for Vitra Health in accordance with state and federal regulatory mandates and best practices. In addition, the position is responsible for tracking, monitoring, and maintaining all key revenue cycle metrics and proactively identifying revenue and process opportunities.

Essential Functions
  • Develop, mentor and lead RCM staff by fostering communication, providing ongoing training, and problem solving.
  • Be metrics driven leader and generate KPI’s and financial reports related to revenue cycle performance
  • Ensure accurate billing, timely follow up, and compliance with regulatory requirements to optimize revenue generation.
  • Monitors accounts receivable aging reports and ensures RCM team maintains timely denial management
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing regulations and compliance standards
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement to enhance revenue cycle efficiency
  • Works closely with compliance to ensure billing practices are aligned with state and federal laws
  • Provides supervision and training of staff and software and knowledge of regulations concerning their areas of responsibility.
  • Monitors the payment reconciliation process with the accounting department for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintains payer contracting and payer relationships
  • Other duties as assigned
Competencies Required
  • Must have deep RCM experience and supervisory experience managing healthcare billing teams
  • Understanding of federal, State, and private health insurance programs, billing, eligibility standards, and coding
  • Principles and practices of conducting and responding to internal and external audits
Education, Experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years of full-time or experience in a revenue cycle leadership position
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field Preferred (Or equivalent Work Experience)
  • Proven experience in healthcare billing, payer contracting and denial management
  • Sound knowledge of health insurance providers
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills as well as problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A thorough understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and their application in billing practices.
  • Ability to identify billing issues, propose solutions, and implement changes to improve revenue cycle efficiency.

In office position – Braintree, MA. Works in a clean, well-lit environment with fluctuating temperatures in close proximity to others. Requires substantial periods of repetitive work utilizing a computer, headset, monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Requires walking and standing; requires frequent sitting more than 75% of the workday; requires the ability to negotiate stairs; requires visual, hearing acuity and manual dexterity to operate equipment.
