Jump start a rewarding Human Services career as a Residential Rehab Educator/Counselor. Join our team and play an essential role in enabling adults with mental illness to live as actively and independently as possible.
Residential Rehab Educators/Counselors assist clients experiencing behavioral health issues with goal setting and achievement, activities of daily living, engagement in meaningful activities, socialization, transportation and medication administration. They implement treatment plans to help clients reach goals and manage symptoms, supporting independence and enhancing quality of life.
Education: HS diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, human services, social work, health sciences toward an Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience working in the health and human services field and/or related education or training.
- Ongoing training and development provided.
- Patience and ability to interact with individuals with disabilities.
- Dependability, flexibility, and desire to help others.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn an electronic health record system.
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record; personal vehicle required at some sites.
- CPR, First Aid and MAP certifications required.

Compensation: $20 per hour (based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications); full‑time, 40 hours per week position.
