Facilities Assistant​/Kitchen Assistant

This position entails two distinct functions, this is an on-site position in Weston, MA:

• Reporting to the Plant Manager, these individuals will be responsible for cleaning common areas, faculty suites, classrooms and offices.
• There will be some outdoor landscaping required, including snow removal.
• During the summer months, individuals will primarily assist in preparing student rooms for the new year (cleaning carpets, sanding walls, etc.).

• Reporting to the chef, these individuals are responsible for stocking general areas (coffee, cold beverages…)
• Prepping the items on the salad bar and assisting the chef as needed.
• Washing dishes and pots and pans, cleaning the kitchen and dining room are also part of their duties.

• Due to the physical nature of these tasks, individuals must be able to carry/lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods of time and bend, reach, stoop.
• Basic knife skills are required.

This is a 40 hour/week benefit eligible position.
