We are seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for our growing healthcare organization, which operates nine skilled nursing and two assisted living communities throughout Massachusetts. This role is responsible for staffing our communities with high-quality clinical and non-clinical professionals, and for overseeing and managing 1–2 recruitment interns as part of the talent acquisition team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring — for clinical and non-clinical roles, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary healthcare staff.
  • Oversee and manage 1–2 recruitment interns, assigning projects, reviewing their work, and supporting their professional development.
  • Partner with facility leadership to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies for each location.
  • Source candidates through Indeed, Linked In, and other recruiting platforms, supplemented by proactive outreach and cold‑calling to build strong talent pipelines.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring job postings and candidate records are accurate and current.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal hiring requirements, including license verification, background checks, and other pre‑employment screening for clinical roles.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and community outreach activities to build our employer brand and expand the talent pipeline.
  • Write and update job descriptions to ensure they accurately reflect role requirements and attract qualified candidates.
  • Track recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, pipeline volume, source effectiveness) and use the data to drive continuous improvement in hiring processes.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on recruitment ad campaigns and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Partner with HR and facility leadership on retention initiatives that support long‑term staff growth and engagement.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, ideally within healthcare, long‑term care, or senior living.
  • Experience recruiting for clinical roles such as RNs, LPNs, and CNAs strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience mentoring, training, or supervising interns or junior staff preferred.
  • Strong sourcing, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and online recruiting platforms.
  • Familiarity with healthcare licensing and credentialing basics (e.g., verifying active nursing licenses) a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple sites in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally between Massachusetts communities and to community events.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
