Information Technology Operations Lead

• Manage daily IT operations, including prompt remediation of technical support tickets and maintenance of a clear audit trail.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of Apple hardware: procurement, setup, shipping for new hires, and managing repairs/returns via Apple Care.
• Provide technology onboarding and ongoing education for employees.
• Coordinate with HR to automate onboarding and offboarding workflows so lifecycle events are repeatable and self-evidencing.
• Manage company software and resource provisioning via Jump Cloud and MDM platforms.
• Organize system maintenance and MacOS upgrades to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Maintain the corporate office WiFi network under the direction of the CTO.
• Provide bi-weekly progress updates to leadership stakeholders.

• Own the operational controls required for compliance (SOC 2 & any future certifications), ensuring that recurring tasks such as access reviews, hardware inventory tracking, and security audit trail maintenance are completed on schedule and that all necessary evidence is documented.
• Manage the KnowBe4 security awareness program, including scheduling employee training, conducting simulated phishing campaigns, and ensuring ongoing cybersecurity education.
• Ensure all laptops and end-user devices remain updated with the latest OS and security patches.
• Ensure ongoing adherence to established internal security policies and controls.
• Protect the confidentiality of employee records and handle all sensitive data in accordance with company policy.

• Experience:
  
  4+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar operations role, with at least one year serving as the primary owner of IT for an organization. Must be a self-starter who thrives independently while maintaining proactive communication with stakeholders.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Demonstrated experience managing Apple hardware (macOS), MDM platforms (e.g., JamF), and Google Workspace administration, with Jump Cloud experience preferred.
• Compliance Mindset:
  Comfort working in regulated environments (SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO); experience maintaining audit trails, tracking hardware inventory, and documenting processes.
• Communication:
  Excellent interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical staff.
• Organization:
  High attention to detail, especially regarding record-keeping and compliance documentation.

Compensation: $85k - $115k, commensurate with experience.
