Masis Professional Group is assisting our client in searching for a Direct Hire, Logistics and Operations Coordinator.

Position Summary

The Logistics & Operations Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management of transportation, logistics, and scheduling activities, ensuring product moves efficiently and accurately between the production facility, 3PL partners, and customers. This role also maintains data integrity within Net Suite, monitors operational reports to identify trends and issues, and drives continuous improvement in logistics processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in business systems, and proactive about finding smarter ways to run the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation & Scheduling
  • Coordinate daily outbound and inbound shipments, including coordination with 3PL warehouse partners (e.g., cold storage providers) and carriers
  • Manage delivery/pickup scheduling to meet customer requirements and production timelines
  • Track shipment status and proactively resolve delays, shortages, or scheduling conflicts
  • Maintain and update transportation/dock schedules
Data Maintenance
  • Maintain accuracy of inventory shipped to and from the facility
  • Perform regular data entry, cleanup, and validation tasks to support reporting accuracy
  • Partner with the systems/IT team to flag data issues or process gaps
Reporting & Analysis
  • Pull and review operational reports (inventory, fill rate, fulfillment, shipping) on a recurring basis
  • Identify patterns, shortages, or inefficiencies and elevate or resolve as appropriate
  • Summarize findings for management to support decision-making
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline logistics, scheduling, and data workflows
  • Recommend and help implement process changes, including reducing manual workarounds
  • Support rollout of new tools or system enhancements related to logistics
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations coordination (food/beverage or manufacturing industry a plus)
  • Experience with ERP systems required;
    Net Suite experience strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas, pivot tables; exposure to data exports/imports a plus)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with a bias toward continuous improvement
