Description
Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Roving Recertification Specialist to support properties within our Boston portfolio and surrounding areas.
Job Responsibilities- Rotate within a regional portfolio, working with site level staff to support processing of move‑ins and annual recertifications for properties impacted by new business or staff absences.
- Administer the recertification and move‑in process at the property, ensuring compliance with program rules and maintaining positive resident relations.
- Collect and process resident information, including third‑party verification, and determine eligibility for continued occupancy.
- Process interim certifications as needed and calculate income, assets and rent levels accurately.
- Provide coverage and support at other sister sites within the company portfolio when required.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Supervisor or Regional Manager to facilitate effective site operations.
- Travel to sites as required.
- Minimum 3 years of property management experience.
- Knowledge of affordable housing, LIHTC, and federal, state and local housing regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to complete recertifications accurately and within an established deadline.
- Excellent customer‑service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in basic math concepts and computer applications.
- Experience with One Site software.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Competitive COS certification a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED with at least 3 years of hands‑on recertification experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and One Site.
- Low‑Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HUD/Section‑8 experience required.
Base salary $75,000–$79,497.60, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, 401(k), STD, life insurance, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), paid time off, paid holidays, paid training, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, referral bonuses and flex spending.
