About the role

Channel Fish Processing is seeking a hands-on Value-Added Production Supervisor (1st Shift) to lead daily production operations within our value-added department. This role is responsible for driving productivity, ensuring food safety and quality standards, and leading a team in a fast-paced seafood processing environment.

The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader who can balance people management, production output, and compliance while maintaining a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

What you'll do
  • Drive output, efficiency, and product quality
  • Supervise, coach, and hold team members accountable
  • Run daily start-up meetings and set clear expectations
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards
  • Partner with QA, Planning, and Shipping to keep operations running smoothly
  • Identify and implement process improvements
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in food production or manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of food safety (GMPs, HACCP, FSMA)
  • Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
  • Hands-on leadership style – not a desk role
