Clean room Operator​/Manufacturing Associate​/Machinist

Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machinist / Manufacturing Operator to support production operations in a regulated cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role involves operating computer-controlled machining equipment, performing inspections, maintaining documentation, and following GMP, ISO, FDA, and safety standards. Candidates must be comfortable working with Cow Hide / Biological Material and operating in a full cleanroom gowning environment.

• Operate computer-controlled manufacturing equipment including:

  • Swiss lathes
  • Automated parts washers
  • Grinders
  • Honing equipment
  • Centerless grinders

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections according to print specifications.

• Complete First Article Inspections (FAI).

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Record production and quality data accurately in manufacturing systems.

• Support ISO, FDA, environmental, health, and safety compliance.

• Perform basic troubleshooting on machinery and equipment.

• Maintain productivity, quality, and dependability standards.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• 0-3 years of manufacturing, production, machining, or operations experience.

• Basic computer and mechanical skills.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Basic math skills including decimals and percentages.

• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.

• Experience with Citizen Lathes, Haas Grinders, Sunnen Hone, Centerless Grinders, or Fanuc Robotics.

• Precision machining experience.

• Experience inspecting and testing manufactured components.

• Medical device manufacturing experience.

• Experience in GMP or regulated manufacturing environments.

• Experience using measurement tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, verniers, shadow graphs, and gauges.

• Cleanroom experience is required.

• Proficient with computers.

• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently and follow procedures accurately.
