Position SummaryWe are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to take on the role of SI&OP Process Owner & Master Scheduler. The ideal candidate will coordinate supply chain and operational strategies within military programs, ensuring efficient production planning and seamless integration with cross‑functional teams.
Job Description Responsibilities- Develop and implement Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SI&OP) processes tailored for synchronized production, inventory, and demand within military programs.
- Leverage industry best practices and emerging trends in SI&OP for continuous improvement in a military program environment.
- Establish and maintain a Military Programs Master Production Schedule for efficient production planning and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with military procurement, production, and logistics teams to gather insights for decision‑making.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams—including programs, business development, procurement, materials, manufacturing, and logistics—to integrate operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to SI&OP and program scheduling.
- Propose improvements based on performance data analysis.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks within military programs, ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing disruptions.
- Implement risk management strategies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Utilize advanced analytics within the ERP system to generate reports on SI&OP process performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in the SI&OP Process.
- Lead a dedicated team of cross‑functional leaders in the execution of the SI&OP process, providing mentorship, guidance, and training.
- Drive initiatives focused on process development and improvement within the business, emphasizing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Production Planning:
Create and release work orders in the ERP system; coordinate with production, materials, and purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials; review job picks list; audit completed jobs for time and expense entry; create engineering jobs for non‑production builds; coordinate with accounting to verify project job codes and IDs.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in SI&OP and master scheduling within military programs.
- Expertise in utilizing ERP systems for SI&OP processes.
- Strong understanding of military supply chain, logistics and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on data‑driven decision‑making.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams within a military program environment.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems and advanced planning software.
- Typically, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of related experience.
