Pastoral Associate/Associate Coordinator of Faith Formation (PT), Good Shepherd Parish, Wayland, MA

Good Shepherd Parish in Wayland is looking for a Pastoral Associate/Associate Coordinator of Faith Formation starting in July 2026. The position would be thirty hours per week (30 hrs./wk). The position will entail planning and leading the group discussions for parents in a family-based Faith Formation program, as well as assisting the pastor in overseeing various liturgical and outreach ministries of the parish, including communion to homebound, to the four nursing homes in the parish boundaries, and helping launch a ministry of small groups.

Additional duties will include helping plan and secure speakers for parish Lenten and Advent missions, helping plan and implement staff retreats, participating in Parish Pastoral Council meetings, working with parish administrative assistant and communication director to coordinate the annual Mass of remembrance in November, and possibly assisting the pastor with planning funerals, baptisms, and weddings, as well as sundry other minor duties relevant to the role of a Pastoral Associate.
