Job Overview
Community Health Network (CHN) is currently seeking registered nurses who have current experience or are interested in working in schools on a PRN substitute basis. Learn more about our Flex Pool if you are interested in picking up hours working in schools primarily located in the greater Boston and Metrowest areas.
We currently have an opening for an experienced School Nurse to work a temporary assignment in the Braintree, MA area.
Looking to start as soon as possible!
Assignment Details- 8:00 a.m.
- 3:00 p.m. - 8-week assignment — with a possibility to extend
- High school aged students
The school nurse will provide nursing care and manage the special needs of students, administer medication, conduct immunization surveillance and routine health screenings annually, provide routine emergency care for students and staff, refer students to their primary health care provider for evaluation as needed, and act as a liaison for students with complex medical needs to connect school, home, and outside medical facilities.
Requirements- Active MA RN license
- Current BLS/CPR
- School Nurse, ER, ICU, or related experience preferred
