MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers and set expectations.
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
- Act as a leader in optical acumen.
- Take and record measurements; accurately adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail and ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
- Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
- Use technology accurately and efficiently despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and use of appropriate tools.
- Proactively explore root causes of issues, forward‑think, and ensure customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded.
- Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
- Take pride in store appearance, keep the store clean, attractive, and organized.
- Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices.
- Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and eager to learn, improve, and achieve results.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- State licensure.
- Optical dispensing experience.
- Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Awareness of current fashion trends.
- Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet.
- Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
- Embrace new technology and change.
- Previous customer service and retail experience.
$33.69 - $39.02 per hour.
BenefitsEmployee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, employees may be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first‑class total rewards package.
