Compensation OverviewThe annual base salary range for this position is a nationwide market range, reflecting the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the candidate’s skills, education, training, credentials and experience. In addition, employees are eligible for performance‑based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?The Managing Account Executive (MAE), Technology will partner with agents and brokers to provide coverage for new and renewal business. The role leads a small team of Account Executives and focuses on managing a book of moderate to highly complex accounts.
Responsibilities- Manage the profitability, growth and retention of an assigned book of business.
- Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
- Cultivate relationships with internal partners and external agents/brokers to create sales plans and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
- Drive new business acquisition using consultative marketing and sales skills.
- Develop and execute agency sales plans in partnership with the Managing Director.
- Coach, train and manage the performance of assigned team members.
- Travel as needed to meet with agents and brokers.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Six to eight years of underwriting experience in commercial lines.
- Deep knowledge of commercial lines products, regulatory environment and local insurance market.
- Strong critical thinking and proactive problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with agents and brokers.
- Experience leading teams is a plus.
- Preferred CPCU designation.
- Four years of experience in underwriting, claims, operations, risk assessment, actuarial, sales, product or finance.
