Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for State Site in Braintree MA

Monday - Thursday 8 AM - 6 PM

Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

As a Security Officer in Braintree, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong communication and customer service.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, traffic-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders.

* Conduct regular and random patrols of roadways, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.

* Monitor assigned areas and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

* Support access control activities, assist the public with directions and general information, and document incidents and/or daily activities in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

* Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
