Multifamily Carpenter II

The Norfolk Companies is seeking a Multifamily Carpenter II to support renovation and finish work across our New England multifamily projects. Based out of Dorchester, MA, you'll handle framing, trim, doors, cabinets, and punch-list items in occupied and vacant units, delivering dependable, high-quality workmanship. You'll read plans, measure accurately, and complete unit turns on schedule while upholding safety and building codes.

As part of a family-founded, collaborative team, you'll work closely with supervisors, designers, and property partners, with opportunities to grow skills and advance across our hardware, kitchen, bath, and remodeling divisions.

Responsibilities

• Perform multifamily carpentry work including framing, trim, doors, cabinets, and finishes to company quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and measurements to complete unit turns and renovation projects
• Install and repair millwork, casework, and punch-list items in occupied and unoccupied multifamily units
• Safely operate carpentry tools and equipment; maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Collaborate with supervisors, designers, and other trades to meet project schedules and customer expectations
• Inspect completed work for accuracy, fit, and finish; make adjustments and repairs as needed
• Communicate professionally with property managers, residents, and internal teams to resolve issues on site
• Follow all company safety policies, building codes, and site procedures on multifamily properties
