Delivery Driver - Box Truck

Who we're looking for

What the job actually looks like

You'll be the face of Norfolk on the road and in our customers' homes. Each day you'll head out with a delivery assistant, running local routes across MA, NH, and RI, delivering kitchen cabinets and countertops directly into customers' homes and job sites.

This is a genuinely physical job - you'll be carrying product (up to 65 lbs.), navigating stairs, uneven surfaces, and tight spaces. If you're someone who likes staying active and takes satisfaction in doing careful, skilled work, you'll fit right in. If you're looking for a job where you sit all day, this one isn't for you.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Running a route efficiently and on time, starting at 6:30am
• Delivering product safely and in perfect condition into customers' homes and job sites
• Leading your delivery assistant through loading, transport, and unloading
• Making customers feel taken care of - you're often the only Norfolk team member they'll ever meet in person
• Logging deliveries accurately using our mobile technology
• Communicating proactively with the team if anything comes up on the road
• Representing Norfolk professionally behind the wheel - our trucks are visible across three states and we take that seriously

What you bring to the role

• Experience with large-item home delivery preferred - 2+ years ideally, though we'll consider strong candidates with the right attitude and physical capability
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving and criminal record
• A valid DOT medical card, or the ability to pass a physical to get one
• Familiarity with MA/NH/RI roads and comfort using route navigation technology
• Knowledge of state and federal DOT regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A reliable way to get to work and a commitment to showing up on time, every day
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
