Description:

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Braintree, MA. The role offers weekly pay of $1300 or more per week, hourly pay $31.50, 45+ hours per week, Monday–Friday schedule starting 4:00 AM–10:00 AM. Routes: SOLO to MA, ME, RI, NH, local daily with day cab tractors and dry van trailers (28', 48', 53'). Truck condition: 36 months or newer, 24/7 roadside maintenance, company fuel at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

Drivers receive medical, dental & vision after 30 days, 80 hours PTO starting Day 1 (use or get paid), uniform, cell phone & boot allowance, driver safety autonomy, 401(k) rollover at 1 year with company match, 12 weeks paid maternity leave (eligibility), employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more. • Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test, Background and Motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A verifiable experience: 9 months in last 3 years, OR 2 years in last 5 years, OR 5 years in last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Some positions require additional screening, including employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check; road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer assigned.

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
