Truck Driver CDL A

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Braintree, MA. The position offers weekly pay (minimum $1300 per week, $31.50 per hour) and a full‑time schedule of Monday to Friday, with a start time between 4:00 and 10:00 AM.

The driver will operate a day cab tractor with dry van trailers (28', 48', or 53'). Routes include local home daily deliveries to Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire, primarily handling touch‑retail goods.

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Class A CDL with required endorsements and verifiable experience: 9 months within the last 3 years, or 2 years within last 5 years, or 5 years within last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, and Ryder road test
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs
• Load and unload freight as required by customers
• Perform other duties as assigned
