Overview: T Global Chauffeuringis seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatcher to join our team in Braintree, MA. In this role, you will manage the "Control Screen", ensuring the timely and accurate progression of trip statuses from booking to completion, maintaining high-quality assurance, and interacting directly with our premium clients and suppliers.
Compensation, Schedule & Location- Pay Range: $28.00 – $31.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Reports To: General Manager (GM), T USA
- Manage the core Dispatch inbox (system status alerts, confirmations, driver assignments, etc.).
- Handle dispatch-related items across Roadshow, Corporate, and Events inboxes.
- Take full ownership of all service deviations during your shift, escalating to proper personnel when required.
- Consult with the Manager on Duty for feedback and operational guidance.
- Produce a detailed Handover report for the incoming shift.
- Distribute supplier resources across all operational platforms.
- Assist with client bookings via phone and email as needed.
- Select suppliers based on location, service type, logistics, vehicle availability, and client preference.
- Proactively look ahead for unassigned future bookings (looking 1 week out on each shift).
- Obtain driver details for the next day by 12:00 PM and ensure all next-day bookings are accepted/confirmed.
- Send driver details to clients using the weekly DDR spreadsheet.
- Conduct 24-hour quality control calls on specialty vehicles.
- Sort the next day’s schedule by supplier to review and resolve potential scheduling conflicts.
- Track and verify trip progression statuses in real-time:
Accepted, Confirmed, Reconfirmed, On-Site, Passengers on Board (POB), Dropped. - Review all trip details directly with drivers and verify that the DDI system is fully operational.
- Monitor and update all flight and train arrivals to anticipate timing changes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all phone calls to and from suppliers.
- Provide proactive alerts to clients regarding potential issues (e.g., no-contact situations, traffic delays, flight cancellations).
- Provide real-time status updates (On-Site, POB, etc.) to key clients upon request.
- Build and maintain close, professional relationships with clients and the supply chain.
- Assist with training new and existing employees.
- Experience: Prior dispatch, logistics, or ground transportation experience is a strong plus, but not a strict requirement. We are fully willing to train the right individual who possesses the right attitude and foundational skills.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence suitable for corporate clients.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple inboxes, phone calls, and live tracking screens simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills to handle real-time logistical deviations calmly and efficiently.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating multi-screen setups, scheduling software, and standard office tools (Excel/spreadsheets).
