PrimaryResponsibilities
- Ensure materials are stored and handled properly and that inventory moves efficiently and accurately between locations
- Stock replenishment
- Keep accurate records of stock on hand and stock levels
- Communicate information about potential inventory loss, damage and other issues to the manager
- Receive incoming shipments
- Unload trucks and containers
- Count and sort incoming equipment per delivery and sort plan
- Inspect products for damage or defects
- Maintain a clean and well‑organized warehouse
- Support annual inventory audit
- Accurately pick items from shelves or bins based on donation sales orders
- Pack orders securely, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Conduct cycle counting
- Research and resolve inventory issues
- Support the set up and execution of corporate and donor volunteer events held in the warehouse
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions
- All other duties as may be assigned by the Director or Manager (This job description is subject to change based on the needs of the business)
- A minimum of a High School Diploma
- 1–2 years of work experience, preferably in retail, warehousing, or distribution
- Technology:
Basic tech proficiency with common computer tools and programs is required. All warehouse staff are required to use a company‑issued laptop daily to perform their job. Employees must be able to function independently within Microsoft Outlook Email, Microsoft Teams Messenger, and Microsoft Excel, and quickly learn external inventory and shipping software - Physical stamina:
Required to routinely lift and move objects up to 30 lbs., operate manual and power lift equipment, and to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb for extended periods. Will be exposed to moving manual and power equipment, noise, and dust
- The Associate will report to the Warehouse Manager
- This is a full‑time, 40‑hour/week position. The shift is Monday‑Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with one 30‑minute paid lunch period
- This position is based in Braintree, MA. To qualify for consideration applicants must live within a reasonable daily commute of Braintree by the agreed‑upon start date
- Applicants must be authorised to work in the United States. We cannot offer sponsorship.
- The starting hourly rate of pay for this position is $22 hr
