Position: Elections Assistant at City Hall
Support the Deputy Clerk in managing elections as an Elections Assistant at City Hall. This full-time temporary position focuses on organizing voter information and staff coordination.

The City of Brampton is seeking two Elections Assistants to enhance electoral administration. This role involves recruiting and training Election Day staff, organizing voting locations, and partnering with local organizations. You will also engage with community outreach, ensuring clear communication of voting processes and details.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and organizing election roll-out

• Recruit and coordinate staff for over 150 voting locations

• Facilitate training sessions for election workers

• Liaise with School Boards for voting location agreements

• Conduct audits of voting locations for accessibility

Requirements:

• High school graduation with relevant Office Administration coursework

• 1-2 years of related experience preferred

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Knowledge of MS Office and web applications
