CPI is seeking a Senior Contract Manufacturing Buyer in Georgetown, Ontario, focusing on strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong procurement background.

As a Senior Buyer, you will lead initiatives for commodity strategy, manage supplier relationships, and ensure effective contract negotiations geared towards achieving operational goals.

Your role will involve using market intelligence to guide sourcing decisions and financial modeling to foster informed recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute commodity roadmaps and strategies

• Negotiate long-term agreements with manufacturers

• Conduct detailed cost and price analyses

• Oversee purchasing processes ensuring compliance

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and/or APICS certification

• At least 6 years of relevant sourcing experience

• Demonstrable expertise in supplier negotiations

• Strong analytical skills and financial modeling knowledge

• Exceptional ability to communicate and influence stakeholders
