In this role, you will report to the Purchasing Manager and be responsible for all aspects of accessory purchasing in Canada. You will analyze supplier chains, negotiate purchase contracts, and maintain effective communications with vendors to enhance service quality. Your ability to react to market changes and ensure timely product availability will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze supply chain for cost reduction opportunities
• Negotiate purchase agreements with Canadian suppliers
• Maintain inventory management for product launches
• Ensure compliance with quality and service standards
• Create item-specific forecasts for ordering
Requirements:
• 5 years of experience in purchasing or similar fields
• Strong command of D365 and data management software
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written
• Membership in the Canadian Purchases Management Association favored
