Responsibilities

Plan, organize and supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping and inventory activities.

Assist with a broad range of warehouse tasks and allocate labour by area/activity based on volumes.

Ensure compliance with service deadlines, inventory accuracy, and productivity.

Check the conformity of goods (quantity, quality, damage).

Optimize flows (layout, locations, order grouping).

Onboard and train new employees in conjunction with Human Resources.

Perform inventory receipts in ERP system.

Conduct monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory.

Contact transport for shipments.

Foster a respectful and collaborative work environment.

Collaborate with Transportation, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Planning to quickly resolve exceptions (delays, emergencies, shortages).

Perform all other related tasks as assigned.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Enforce Health & Safety rules.

Conduct safety meetings, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action plans.

Ensure that all occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements are met and record relevant information in the EHS system.

Job Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center supervision.

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage X3, P21).

Control of warehousing processes (receipt, put‑away, picking, packing, shipping).

Knowledge of OHS (CNESST), WHMIS, TDG and a valid forklift license.

Proficiency in Excel.

Field leadership with a sense of urgency, decision-making, and problem-solving.

Clear communication and organizational management skills.

Strong reporting skills while meeting deadlines.
