Experienced Buyer Planner in Packaging

Your role will focus on effective sourcing, negotiation, and planning within the packaging and spice industry.

We are looking for an experienced Buyer Planner with over two years in sourcing raw materials. Key responsibilities include managing contracts, preparing purchase orders, and collaborating effectively with Sales and Operations. Your skills in negotiation and organization will drive cost-saving initiatives and streamline our purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate supply contracts for materials and services

• Prepare purchase orders and manage ingredient supplies

• Collaborate with sales and operations teams for planning

• Implement cost-saving opportunities across purchasing categories

• Execute RFPs and benchmark purchasing activities

Requirements:

• College education with 2+ years buying experience

• SCMP certification is an asset

• Solid understanding of product costing

• Food industry experience preferred

• Excellent negotiation and organizational skills
