Become a temporary Business Analyst with the BC General Employees' Union, focusing on mobile application development and agile best practices. Assist stakeholders in defining project requirements and user stories.
Your role will significantly contribute to BCGEU's mobile initiatives by translating business needs into functional specifications. You will collaborate with internal teams to manage product backlogs and facilitate agile methodologies, ensuring successful delivery of software solutions. A strong background in business analysis will be key to navigating stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess stakeholder requirements for mobile projects
• Document and clarify business needs with technical teams
• Manage user stories and conduct agile ceremonies
• Provide ongoing updates to leadership regarding project status
• Evaluate build vs. buy options for mobile solutions
Requirements:
• 5+ years in business analysis within agile environments
• Proven experience with mobile applications as a BA/PO
• Knowledge of Scrum frameworks and user story creation
• Effective risk management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
