The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role.
Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

Loblaw is looking for an Intern of ESG Reporting to coordinate with various divisions to help prepare the external ESG report and data sheet. The ESG Reporting team is a central hub that ensure reporting activities are well coordinated and tracked to deliver against the company’s environmental, social and governance commitments, and ultimately disclose our results using industry best practice.
Role Responsibilities
Demonstrate a passion for contributing to Loblaw’s purpose – helping Canadians Live Life Well® – and the company’s commitments to fight climate change and advance social equity.
Contribute to the preparation and submission of the ESG report and data sheet in accordance with relevant frameworks
Assist in collecting, organizing, and validating ESG data through collaborations with business stakeholders
Support reporting to company leadership and across business divisions and departments.
Support ESG-related company communication with a range of stakeholders to gather information to support the reporting process
Drive continuous improvement, introducing new strategies and techniques.
Role Requirements
University degree or enrollment in a relevant program
1-3 years relevant experience
Experience in internal controls, assurance, and/or data analytics
Familiarity with ESG subject matter, measurement, and reporting protocols is an asset
Enthusiastic learner with demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced changing work environment
Proactive individual with the ability to effectively manage various projects simultaneously to strict deadlines
Strong degree of ownership and accountability with high attention to detail
High degree of organizational and time management skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Power Point
