Senior Financial Analyst / SAP Implementation Consultant – Contract Position:
Our client in the manufacturing sector is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for a 5-month contract with the possibility of extension.

This role is 5 days in office for first 3 months, then hybrid in office thereafter.

The client is in Brampton and pay rate is $48–52 on an hourly basis.

This position is central to the transition across multiple entities.

The ideal candidate is a “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” professional who balances deep technical accounting knowledge with the analytical rigor required for a complex ERP implementation.

You will be instrumental in ensuring data integrity, streamlining intercompany processes, and supporting the Controller during this high‑growth phase.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and populate SAP templates for testing and production phases, including master data, transactional templates, and technical documentation.
  • Prepare and validate opening balances for SAP Go‑Live, specifically focusing on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Asset lists.
  • Support the seamless migration of financial data to SAP, ensuring accuracy across multiple entities.
  • Perform complex intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Controller with the month‑end/ year‑end close process including journal entry posting and variance analysis.
  • Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide relevant financial data and insights to support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute special projects and financial analysis as required by senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA designation is strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis and general accounting.
  • Proven experience supporting system implementations, post‑implementation issue resolution, and system analysis.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling).
