This contract position provides an opportunity to maximize financial value in the Region of Peel for 12 months. As a critical member of Corporate Finance, you’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with PSAS and assisting in year-end audits. Your analytical skills and financial acumen will support comprehensive financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with PSAS on all transactions
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for entities
• Support year-end audits with working papers
• Produce monthly councillor reporting statements
• Assist in preparing annual Financial Information Returns
Requirements:
• University degree in business administration or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• CPA/CA/ACCA accounting designation
• Knowledge of SAP Financials and ERP systems
• Experience with financial statements and audit working papers
