Position: Financial Analyst with Vaco by Highspring

In this role, you will support the Finance Manager in preparing annual budgets and assist in various financial reporting tasks. Your proactive approach will be crucial in handling journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of annual agency budgets

• Prepare journal entries and financial reconciliations

• Analyze month-to-month financial statement variances

• Conduct revenue recognition and fund analysis

• Complete GST and Statistics Canada reporting

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of financial experience in accounting or auditing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAGE

• Ability to communicate effectively with leaders

• Solid organization and project management skills

• Capable of working independently towards goals
