Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage enterprise budgeting and forecasting of the marketing operations and admin spend; interacting with VP’s, brand leads, and marketing team across the marketing portfolio to ensure accuracy and completeness
Manage periodic and quarterly results, as well as ad hoc reporting and presentations to brand managers, marketing leadership team, and marketing finance team on a periodic basis
Manage the end-to-end accounting process for incremental marketing initiatives
Support the enterprise marketing team in financial reporting, planning and analysis
Review of periodic marketing accrual and journal entries
Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company (i.e., support the marketing and finance teams in exploring opportunities to become more efficient and effective with marketing spend)
Provide insightful information and expectations to the marketing team to aid in short-term and long-term decision making
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the marketing finance team
Ownership of SMD / Category billing process to receive funds to offset marketing expenses, as well as managing the recognition of other marketing related income
Preparation of periodic and ad hoc marketing decks for senior marketing and finance leadership teams
Communicate with FP&A team and other stakeholders the marketing results, variances, and other details as required
Leverage AI to automate finance workflows and support in Marketing Analytics
Assist with the development of KPI’s and ongoing reporting
Ad hoc requests as needed
Qualifications
4-6 years in a finance role. Retail experience preferred.
University degree in Business, Accounting or Finance. CPA/MBA or enrollment in these programs preferred.
Experience with financial stewardship, process & efficiencies improvement, and strong financial modelling skills
Results driven, highly analytical and ability to combine high level vision and attention to detail
Strong technical skills and ability to work with large amounts of data
Experience with SQL, SAP, PowerBI and AI tools is an asset
Ability to translate complex concepts into clear and concise presentations
The ability to deal with ambiguity and make intelligent assumptions
Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships
Strong personal responsibility, honesty, and integrity
Ability to work well under pressure and effectively communicate and deal with personnel at senior levels of the organization.
Experience in process design and systems integration considered an asset
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche :$80,000.00 - $ / 80.000,00$ - $ (per year / par an). A candidate’s experience and knowledge as well as the geographical region in which the position is located may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position.
