Join the Market & Trading Compliance team at Capital Power as a Compliance Assistant for a temporary full-time role. You'll excel in budget planning and support compliance initiatives.
This position, based in Edmonton, Alberta, offers a full-time opportunity for up to 12 months, covering for a maternity leave. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support by tracking budgets, conducting reviews, and maintaining government registries. Your organization skills will be key in managing various compliance-related tasks and assisting with training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support budget planning and tracking processes
• Conduct quarterly budget reviews with team leads
• Maintain lobby registries for government relations
• Facilitate training program assignments and modifications
• Process invoices and prepare purchase requisitions
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in relevant fields
• 3–5 years experience supporting multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with Oracle is an asset
